Ratchet & Clank Nexus
Ratchet & Clank has had a steadily declining audience sinced it launched many years ago. The game itself, of course, is still just as fantastic as it ever was but it did lose it’s way. How do we help solve this age old problem?
Fire Without Smoke’s solution, with help from Sony was to craft a new “Big Idea”, target a new, younger audience and focus on features and ways of playing. All the while re-establishing Ratchet & Clank as the Heroes we always knew they were.
Basing our final European launch ad on our campaign idea we developed a movie style trailer to help deliver high impact, a hint of story and help our two heroes save the universe from destruction.
We also fully localised this piece into 12 different languages (not using subtitles).
