Assassin’s Creed Origins

After a two year break, Assassin’s Creed is back. Bigger and better than ever we wanted to make sure that everyone would sit up and notice. After all, going back to the origins of the Assassins is a brilliant premise. And set in one of the most iconic eras of the modern world – ancient Egypt!

Our team in Montreal worked incredibly closely with Ubisoft’s internal studio to script, advise, plan and refine the gameplay walkthrough that would explain this new world. Working hand in hand in this way allowed for a collaboration that would get the absolute best for the E3 press conference and help Ubisoft with the best way to showcase both demos and gameplay. After finalising the planned walkthrough, Ubisoft Montreal captured the final gameplay in incredible 4k whilst FWS got to work polishing the final montage. Putting all this work together delivered a final piece that gave the audience a glimpse into what Assassin’s Creed Origins would hold.

For the Mysteries of Egypt trailer, FWS wanted to make sure that Origins was shown at it’s best. Every shot, every environment, every action scene and every…..hippo, lion, crocodile and antelope looked utterly stunning.

Our trailers for Gamescom 2017 came in two flavours; Red Band and normal. That means we got to make two trailers that were very similar but one was allowed a lot more violence. A lot. Loads. Captured, edited and conceived by FWS we do like our face stabbing to be very stabby indeed.

See if you can spot the difference. CLUE: One has loads of blood and death.

Our launch trailer took some of our best capture, some shot specifically to allow us to include many of the fantastic accolades the this new AC game achieved.
