The Gilded Mage

To support Riot Games’ Welcome to Noxus season, we designed an elegant physical activation celebrating the arrival of Mel as a playable champion in League of Legends. The Arcane fan favourite was sure to be a hit, and we wanted to make sure the fans could celebrate in style. Inspired by Mel’s golden mage markings, we designed a series of intricate temporary tattoos presented in premium keepsake packaging, topped off with a bold quote from the champion herself. These became a core part of Riot’s event activations, even featuring at a live tattoo pop-up accompanied by a Mel cosplayer at the Riot Games Esports arena in Berlin. A perfect fusion of storytelling, iconic worldbuilding, and community engagement - crafted to leave a mark.
