Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow

Our friends at Vertigo Games approached us to help bring to life a bold new chapter of stealth gameplay to life - Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow. Our mission was to create their main Key Art that both captured the essence of Thief's rich history and setting, whilst also introducing a brand-new protagonist making her debut in the series. We were challenged to reimagine the usual compositions with bespoke details and a dramatic flair. The art direction required a delicate balance of staying true to the franchise's roots whilst emphasising the player fantasy of being agile, unseen, and dangerously clever. Working closely with our client, and drawing from historic franchise materials while introducing fresh design elements, we crafted a cinematic Key Art that teases mystery, stealth and power. The final piece stands as a confident first glimpse intro a new era for the franchise - and a nod to every Thief fan.
